Who We Are
RealKFO or translated Real Orthodontics is a specialist orthodontic laboratory based in Germany, Hessen just north of Bad Homburg. Although the RealKFO spends much of its time crafting Bionators and working together with therapists interested in alternative holistic orthodontics we also make Twin Blocks, Bit Jumping appliances, Distal Jets, Hawley retainers, Space Maintainers, Herbst appliances, elastic opening activators and every other type of fixt and removable appliance on the market.
The laboratory was grounded in 1994 by Specialist Dental Technician Roger Harman who did his basic and orthodontic training in England. After travelling and learning further in New-Zealand and Australia he settled in Germany and after gaining further experience in Orthodontics in several specialist laboratories, Roger Harman gained recognition as a advanced dental technical in Germany and started his own Laboratory concentrating on putting his acquired quality specialist knowledge to the service of his customers. Roger Harman is an honorary member of the English Orthodontic technicians association OTA and spent many years on the committee of the German Orthodontic Technicians Association GK he has also travelled widely teaching and giving lectures for instance the 15th British Orthodontic Conference, Brighton, 2000. RealKFO or Real Orthodontics spends a lot of time organising lectures and seminars for its customers in Germany with the most interesting personalities in our field here are some examples from the last couple of years.
